How it works

  1. Choose the PDFFrom your phone or computer. We show you how many pages it has.
  2. Choose the quality“Normal” works for almost everything. “High” is sharper for printing or zooming in.
  3. Download the imagesIf the PDF has a single page, you download a JPG. If it has several, a ZIP with one image per page.

What turning a PDF into an image is for

There are places where a PDF does not work: an Instagram story, a Facebook post, some forms that only accept photos, or a chat where you want the other person to see the document without opening a file. Converting the PDF to JPG solves all that: each page becomes an image that displays directly on any phone.

It is also useful for sending a CUIL certificate, a certificate or a ticket on WhatsApp, or for pasting a page of a PDF into a Word document or a presentation.

Which quality to choose

With Normal the images read perfectly on screen and stay small, ideal for sharing. With High small print looks sharper when you zoom in or print, but each image is larger. Images have a white background even if the PDF has transparent parts.

If you need the opposite, combining photos into a PDF, use Images to PDF.

Your PDF is not uploaded anywhere

The conversion happens inside your browser. The file does not go through any server and nobody else can see it, which matters when the PDF contains personal data.

How do I convert a PDF to JPG?

Choose the PDF, tap “Convert to JPG” and download the images. Each page of the PDF becomes a JPG.

What if the PDF has several pages?

We give you a ZIP file with one image per page, numbered in order. On your phone, open it with the Files app to see the images.

Can I convert a single page?

Yes. First separate that page with the “Split PDF” tool and then convert it here, or convert everything and keep the image you need.

Does it work from my phone?

Yes. It works on Android and iPhone from the browser, without installing anything.

Is quality lost?

With “Normal” quality the text reads perfectly on screen. If you are going to print or need to zoom in, choose “High”.

Is my PDF uploaded to the internet?
