How it works

When it makes sense to split a PDF
Sometimes a procedure's system does not accept heavy files, or they only ask for part of the document: the contract page with the signatures, the certificate for a single month or one chapter of your notes. Splitting the PDF lets you send exactly what is needed.
To choose pages, type ranges separated by commas. “1-3” means pages one, two and three; “5” is just the fifth; “8-” goes from the eighth to the end. Each range becomes a separate PDF.
Your pages do not travel anywhere
The document is processed inside your browser, so it is never uploaded to a server. Pages are copied without losing quality and the text stays selectable.

How do I extract a single page from a PDF?
Choose “By ranges” and type that page's number. You will download a PDF containing only that page.
Can I separate all the pages at once?
Yes. Choose “Each page separately” and you download a ZIP with one PDF per page.
What is a ZIP file and how do I open it?
It is a compressed folder. On Windows, Mac, Android and iPhone you open it by tapping it: the system shows you the PDFs inside.
Is quality lost when splitting?
No. Pages are copied exactly as they are in the original.
Does it work with large PDFs?
Yes, with files of up to about 100 MB. On phones with little memory it is better to use lighter files.
